BlM Alice | Glastonbury Murals

This Glastonbury mural, located near St John's Square, presents a distinctly surreal composition centred on a female figure wearing a rabbit-eared hood - an image that loosely echoes the visual language of Alice in Wonderland. Before her, a suspended pocket watch and bird-of-paradise plant introduce a dreamlike, almost dislocated sense of time. The work leans heavily into surrealist aesthetics, combining human portraiture with symbolic and natural motifs in a way that suggests transformation or altered perception. This approach aligns with the broader visual character of many murals in Glastonbury, where myth, nature, and esoteric themes frequently overlap. The mural was created  by Laura Erviti in 2024.
