Chalice Well Gardens is a renowned ancient holy well and World Peace Garden, situated at the foot of
Glastonbury Tor. The natural spring and its surrounding gardens are cared for by the Chalice Well Trust, and draw visitors from around the world seeking a sense of calm, reflection, and spiritual connection.
The gardens are open to the public during set hours, while quieter, private access can sometimes be arranged for meditation or small ceremonies. Within the grounds, this simple shaded wooden seated area offers a place for sheltered peace and reflection - somewhere to sit quietly, out of the sun or rain, and away from the main paths, to absorb the stillness that defines the site.
