Star Child (Courtyard)
Tucked within a quiet courtyard off Glastonbury, the original Star Child shop had a quietly enchanting beauty both indoors and outside. More apothecary than retail space, where the air itself felt alive with the mingled scents of incense, herbs, and essential oils. Founded in 1969, Star Child built its reputation on hand-blended botanicals, sourcing high-quality, often organic ingredients from around the world and preparing them locally with a craftperson’s care. Inside, shelves of glass jars, candles, resins, and oils created a sensory tapestry, while seasonal herbal displays and soft, earthy lighting gave the space a timeless, magical atmosphere. Part shop, part sanctuary, visitors to Glastonbury's original Star Child often lingered there to breathe deeply, and feel gently transported.
Star Child is currently (5 April 2026) on Glastonbury's High Street - check it out at its ne location here.
