Visions Of Somerset | Glastonbury

Visions of Glastonbury, at 6 Market Place in Glastonbury, is a small photography shop run by Michelle Cowbourne. Opened in 2024, it centres on her landscape work, much of it focused on Glastonbury and the surrounding levels. The images are rooted in familiar locations in Glastonbury, the Tor, the town and nearby fields. Her photography emphasises the effects weather and lighting have on the land and tend to be taken atmospheric momentarily transform the scene. Her images are less a record of the place as you’d see it passing through, and more a version shaped by timing and conditions.
